Lahna Turner's Bio
Lahna Turner is quickly becoming one of the hottest females on the comedy circuit. With her sharp wit and hilarious songs Lahna holds nothing back as she shares insights and observations from her life as a wife mother and the uncensored inner voice of millions of women. In August she will release her first one-hour special filmed live in Las Vegas titled “So… I Wrote A Song About It.”
Able to relate to people like few entertainers can Lahna is absolutely unafraid to say things that might at first seem “uncomfortable ” but inevitably have the audiences relating and rolling with laughter. She has a unique point of view as a comedian. She’s a mother of two children a wife and a writer. She balances her career and home life brilliantly with a seemingly endless amount of energy. She is then able to take her life experiences and her comedic wit and relate to people about the things we all go through on a daily basis.
Lahna has appeared on NBC Comedy Central Animal Planet and VH1. She has also been featured as a commentator on CMT Insider and most recently on TruTV’s “How to be a Grownup.” She regularly plays the top comedy clubs and theaters around the country and has also done several tours for the USO. Recently she made her big screen debut in the indie film “Teacher of The Year ” which is currently touring the festival circuit. Her two comedy albums “If These Lips Could Talk” and “D!@k Jokes and Other Assorted Love Songs ” have received airplay at top radio stations across the country as well as National Lampoon’s Top 40 comedy countdown and are currently in rotation on SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
When she’s not on the road Lahna divides her time between Nashville and Los Angeles with her husband Ralphie May their two wonderful children April June May and August James May and their dog Hoochie Mama.
