Virginia Jones' Bio

Virginia is a character, a big and tall touring stand-up comedian with singular talent and literal genius. Currently meeting with APA for comedy and literature representation, she is incredible with comedic acting. Virginia is proud to be on the list of Laurie Kilmartin and Jackie Kashian’s Comics of the Week. She paid her dues in Portland, OR, headlining the Bridgetown and All Jane Festivals, performing with David Koechner etc, before she moved to Los Angeles and headlined Santa Cruz, Chico, LAFF, Women in Comedy and more festivals. Her album, Gothic American, was on WhoHaHa’s list best female comic albums of the year. “So good!” has been yelled about her by both Kristen Schaal and Maria Bamford, and Pete Holmes of HBO’s Crashing “Really enjoyed” her. Virginia has toured nationally, headlining in Kansas City, Indianapolis, etc. This is an incredible voice in modern comedy and acting.

Her album, Gothic American, was on WhoHaHa’s list of prominent women comedian’s albums in 2016. She was a contributor to both Laughing Matters, an art exhibit about women in comedy, and The Girl In The Show, a book about three generations of women in comedy.
