From selling houses in Sydney to selling out comedy theaters across Australia, My Cousin Vlad has taken an unconventional path to stand-up comedy. A former real estate agent, Vlad accidentally launched his comedy career in 2019 after an impromptu Instagram rant went viral. Despite having no previous stand-up experience, he sold out his debut performance at Sydney's Factory Theatre and quit his real estate career the very next day.
Known for his trademark suit, sunglasses, sharp observational humor, and unapologetically outspoken personality, Vlad has built a devoted international following through his live performances, viral social media videos, and popular Dis Dat Podcast. Drawing inspiration from his Balkan heritage, marriage, fatherhood, generational differences, and the absurdities of everyday life, Vlad delivers hilarious, relatable comedy that resonates across cultures.
Following successful Australian tours, My Cousin Vlad brings his unique brand of comedy to American audiences, presented by Balkan Comedy Night. Expect an unforgettable evening of outrageous storytelling, brutally funny observations, and nonstop laughter.
