Mario Rodriguez

Mario Rodriguez is a stand up comedian, writer, podcaster and (bad) surfer from Baldwin Park, California. You’ve seen him at the Netflix is a Joke Festival, Chatterbox Comedy Night, opening for Big Jay Oakerson, and paying for his parking outside of the Comedy Store. He is the co-founder of,”Idiots United”, a comedy music show that started in 2019 with Buster Brown and Eric Ceroni in Echo Park, CA. They’ve quickly built up their reputation as one of the standout underground comedy experiences in all of Los Angeles. Mario has a podcast, “WYD Pod”, with Josh Benjamin. “WYD” goes for a more cinematic approach, braving the outdoor elements (usually mosquitos) for shots focused on the beauty of everyday life rather than the traditional controlled environment of a studio.

Mario’s pov can be described as raunchy, 4:20 friendly and not for the faint of heart.
