Maggie Maye's Bio

Maggie Maye loves candy almost as much as she also loves performing comedy.
She made her late night debut on Conan and was featured on Last Call with Carson Daly and Gotham Comedy Live. In addition to being part of the writing team for Netflix’s History Of Swear Words she was seen on Comedy Central Digital, on Seeso’s Take My Wife, and has written for the New Yorker. She released her debut comedy special Sweet Enough with 800 Pound Gorilla Media.
Maggie has performed stand up at comedy festivals such as Just for Laughs, Bridgetown, SF Sketchfest, FunFunFun Fest, Moontower and SXSW. She has opened for Maria Bamford, Hannibal Buress, Gladys Knight, and Earth, Wind and Fire. She’s been named in Huffington Post, Variety, LaughSpin, the New York Times, Splitsider and was named 2016’s Best of Austin Stand up Comic by the Austin Chronicle. She performed improv all over Austin before moving to Los Angeles, where she joined UCB ands performs in the monthly sketch show, Hot Coffee.
Her comedy is described in the same way she is: sassy, charming, and smart. Also, a 6-year-old once told her she was the funniest person ever. And kids rarely lie.
