Madison Shepard 's Bio

Madison has opened for comedians like Maria Bamford, Zainab Johnson, and Dulcé Sloan. Her stand-up has been featured on platforms like WhoHaha, Funny or Die, and Buzzfeed. She has appeared on Comedy Central’s The New Negroes and HBO’s Barry, and had a recurring role as Gail, the probation officer, on Freeform’s Single Drunk Female. Madison has also performed extensively in classical theater across Los Angeles, in productions such as Twelfth Night, Three Sisters, Dido Queen of Carthage, The Tempest, Henry IV (I & II), and many others with The Downtown Rep and Independent Shakespeare Company. In 2020, she was part of the creative team for the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards, wrote for seasons 4 and 5 of Netflix’s The Circle, and contributed to Roku Originals’ Roku Recommends (seasons 1, 2, and the 2021 year-end special). She also wrote for Amazon/Fox’s show Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? Madison released her debut EP Goodnight Silverlake Lounge in November 2019. She studied acting at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in London, and is currently studying at John Rosenfeld Studios.
