Kimberly Lewis' Bio
Kimberly Lewis is a long-time faculty member at ACME Actors Studio @ ACME Comedy Hollywood, where she also directs and performs improv, writes and performs as a member of the mainstage sketch comedy company, and has won multiple awards for her original character work and writing. She is also a member of the award-winning improv troupe, the Liquid Radio Players, and guests with other top improv groups in town. She has taught improv at AMDA (American Musical & Dramatic Academy) and at Deborah Gibson’s Camp Electric Youth (alongside Wayne Brady, Jason Alexander, Howard Fine and others), as well as to voiceover artists and trial lawyers, and is a busy private coach. Kimberly has taught sketch comedy workshops for the Middle Eastern Comedy Festival, and Canyon High School, and recently directed the hit sketch show Sketchy Queens. She has been a judge for California’s Funniest Female Contest and often helps cast independent projects. She has also written for the Emmy-winning Disney series Phineas and Ferb. Kimberly has performed sketch and improv with some of the best comedic talents around, including MadTV’s Debra Wilson, Saturday Night Live’s Nora Dunn, Joel McHale, Bryan Cranston, Mindy Sterling, Gary Anthony Williams, Jamie Kaler, and Rick Overton. Kimberly has an MFA in Acting from California Institute of the Arts.
