Kerry Coddett

KERRY CODDETT most recently wrote in the mini-room of GET THE GETT for Showtime. She previously served as Co-Head Writer and CoEP on Yvonne Orji's variety special for HBO. Before that, she wrapped Season 2 of FLATBUSH MISDEMEANORS for Showtime, where she is also a recurring guest star and was the only writer asked to return from season 1. On screen, KERRY has appeared in Hulu's RAMY, HBO's CRASHING and was a core cast member of THE ILIZA SCHLESINGER SKETCH SHOW on Netflix. She was a regular on Comedy Central's THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE and MTV’s JOKING OFF. She can also seen be on HBO's PAUSE WITH SAM JAY and BET's THE RUNDOWN WITH ROBIN THEDE. Before turning to comedy, KERRY graduated college at 19 and started her own business as a fashion designer and stylist for Jay-Z. She is currently developing a pilot based on her experiences with Robin Thede producing.

In 2017, Kerry was crowned the winner of the Caroline’s on Broadway Comedy Madness Competition. Beating out 63 comedians, she was also the first female to have ever won the competition. Kerry has performed stand up at the NBC Universal Second City Breakout Festival, New York Comedy Festival, The Women In Comedy Festival, The Brooklyn Comedy Festival, and Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, and was a semi-finalist for Stand Up NBC in 2018. She’s the host of Brooklyn, Stand Up!! a monthly stand up comedy show that has been listed in The Village Voice and the New York Times, she has also been a guest co-host on The Young Turks, and she co-hosted Wake Up! w/ Taylor (Sirius XM) multiple times.
