Jenny Karr's Bio

Jenny Karr’s session singing career began in New York, where she lived for 14 years. Her first break came from singing background vocals for Jennifer Lopez’s first single “If You Had My Love” on her debut record “On the 6” and since then she has been working in music and never looked back. From there she went on to record on singles for major artists such as Britney Spears, Michael McDonald, Celine Dion, Marc Anthony and many others. She also was the singer on the “Wanta Fanta” commercial and scores of commercials over the years. Jenny also has had the opportunity to sing live with Patti Austin, Enya, and Enrique Iglesias.

She moved to Los Angeles in 2008 where she began to hone her skills, in addition to singing, as a songwriter and vocal producer. She was signed as a writer to Universal Music Publishing via Cathy Dennis and has had international top 10 hits as a writer and featured vocalist on dance singles, with a #1 single on the Billboard Dance charts. Jenny has traveled the world and lived in Berlin, Germany from 2013-2015.

As of late, in between singing sessions and writing assignments, Jenny focus is on her company “Everybody Has A Voice”, where she gets to share all of her experience and knowledge with aspiring artists on their projects. She helps them with their vocal performance, songwriting and production, finding their voices and what makes them unique and stand out as artists.
