Jennie Mintz's Bio
Jennie Mintz is an LA native who got her BA in Theater at UW-Madison. After graduating
she moved back to LA, where she attended Groundlings which gave her the tools to create her own web series, “MAKING IT”. Jennie starred in, wrote, and directed the series. Her pilot of the same name was accepted into the second round of the Sundance Episodic Story Lab.
She went onto act in, write, direct, and edit a music video called “Nasty Women!” Both her series and music video can be found on YouTube.
Jennie is currently in development with her feature comedy, “BORN TO PIN”, which was
inspired by her upbringing in LA and Wisconsin. The project is in the middle of casting
and will shoot in Canada 2026. Jennie has co-written feature about a classic American
conspiracy theory that has captivated the public consciousness for decades…stay tuned!!!
Jennie began her stand-up comedy career in April 2025 and has quickly risen in the
scene. She has already performed at the Pasadena Ice House and had her Comedy Store debut mid-July. Jennie’s thoughts on stand-up comedy: “It feels like I’ve solved the Rubik’s Cube
