Allan Havey's Bio
Allan Havey is a well-respected actor and comedian dubbed by the NY TIMES as “cocksure irreverent and very funny”. In the past year he has guest starred on LOUIE UP ALL NIGHT THE OFFICE GOOD LUCK CHARLIE and made nine appearances as Lou Avery on seasons six and seven of AMC’S MAD MEN. According to TV GUIDE his character became “the most hated man on television”. He recently shot the pilot for Amazon’s MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE slated to air in 2015. He will also appear in Chris Rock’s new film TOP FIVE and scored big with his tenth appearance on LATE NIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN.
Allan has had extensive television experience starring in the Fox half hour comedy FREE RIDE. He appeared in the pilot as well as the season (2002) opener of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM as well as Jerry Seinfeld’s documentary COMEDIAN. He made five appearances on the MTV show PUNK’D where he victimized Kanye West Shannon Elizabeth Lindsay Lohan and Brandy. In addition he has appeared on MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE SEINFELD and THE SARAH SILVERMAN SHOW.
Stand up appearances include LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O’BRIEN THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON and COMIC RELIEF IV and V. His two HBO specials “ONE NIGHT STAND” and “COMMAND PERFORMANCE” were both nominated for Cable Ace Awards. He is known as creator and host of the cult talk show “NIGHT AFTER NIGHT” which ran for three years on Comedy Central.
Allan costarred with Matt Damon in Steven Soderberg’s THE INFORMANT and was featured in the Will Smith motion picture HANCOCK. Additional film work includes INTERNAL AFFAIRS CHECKING OUT ROUNDERS and KNOCKAROUND GUYS. He was also featured in the hit documentary THE ARISTOCRATS.
He has headlined for thirty years in clubs and colleges around the country as well as internationally. His comedy festival experience includes ASPEN COMEDY FESTIVAL (Colorado) JUST FOR LAUGHS (Montreal) TOYOTA COMEDY FESTIVAL (New York) and KILKENNEY FESTIVAL (Ireland). He recently returned from the Netherlands where he starred on THE COMEDY FACTORY.
