Beverly D'Angelo's Bio

Beverly D'Angelo. You probably know her best as Ellen Griswold, co-starring with Chevy Chase in all the "National Lampoon's Vacation" films. Or maybe as ball buster Babs Miller in HBO's "Entourage". Or as Patsy Cline in Coal Miner's Daughter. Or as Doris Vineyard in Oscar nominated "American History X". Or the Christmas 2022 hit film Violent Night with David Harbor and John Leguizamo. Or as featured on Law and Order SVU, or Netflix Insatiable. There are plenty of roles to choose from. Beverly has appeared in over 136 film and television roles to date, with four films to be released in the upcoming year. Beverly D'Angelo has starred on and off Broadway. She has been recognized with Drama Desk, Theater World, Satellite, Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for acting, and in the music industry with CMA and Golden Reel award nominations for her singing in Coal Miners Daughter. But that’s just, as she calls it, her "reel life". Her real life has been much wider and wilder than any roles she's played to date. A Columbus Ohio native, she immigrated to Canada, lived in Ireland, and as a Duchess in Italy. And she wants to tell you all about it. The path that led her from a small midwestern suburb to Inker and Painter for Hanna Barbera Cartoon studios, going on the road as a singer, her career in film and beyond. Always thriving despite crazy ups and downs, (including giving birth to twins at age 49, which she urges people not to try at home), and many more tales of intrigue far afield of what you may think you know about her. Come and join us for an afternoon of personal stories, photos, video and music with the ever intriguing Beverly D'Angelo.
