Jeff Danson aka Heavvy is an award winning Stand up comedian, producer, writer, actor and food fanatic based between Los Angeles and New York city. After breaking into the comedy scene, Heavvy first gained traction for his witty joke writing skills as main contributor to the Iron Sheik viral twitter account. At the time of Heavvy’s contributions it was rated the top funniest Twitter account by GQ, FHM and Sports Illustrated.
Heavvy continued his journey to fatness writing and starring in self produced food travel shows. Two of which received orders from Viacom MTV leading to him leaving his hometown of Toronto for the US. Heavvy then became friends, toured and worked closely with the biggest names in the business.
Heavvy’s touring and self produced stand up show entitled Heavvy sets has thrived. Over a 10 year period, Heavvy Sets has solidified sold out shows in LA, NYC and TO with further plans of expansion into the content space. Keep an eye for his upcoming touring schedule as he continues to crank it across stages worldwide leading to his highly anticipated second album recording in 2025 in December in his hometown of Toronto!!!
