Johnny Manuel's Bio

Johnny Manuel has become a breakout vocal star who reached the Semi-Finals for 2017’s ‘America’s Got Talent’ (AGT) TV vocal competition for Season 12. Since then, he has garnered more than 270 million YouTube views. After AGT success, his name has immediately rocketed among major recording industry executive circles.

The Flint, Michigan native hails from musical lineage and once signed a record deal as a teenager. But,it’s his most recent foray in the record industry that has the world all abuzz about Johnny M. In the fall

of 2017, he rocked the competition at the nationally-televised (NBC-produced) AGT competitive lineup. In performing an indescribable rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing,” Johnny M. single-handedly threw the AGT judges into a frenzy, based on his uniquely-styled vocal cover of the legendary singer’s classic piece.

AGT producer/judge Simon Cowell was so enamored with Johnny’s vocal prowess, he requested he sing an impromptu, acapella version of “I Have Nothing” in a subsequent appearance on the show.

The other judges including Heidi Klum, Mel B., Howie Mandel and Seal, were likewise stunned by the singer’s vocal expertise. In fact, Seal pressed the elusive “Golden Buzzer” during Johnny’s performance, quickly sending Johnny onto higher AGT competition levels.

Has over 270 million views of his viral video on Facebook (the video from AGT of him singing Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing”) and as two singles currently released on Itunes, Spotify and other streaming services “Come Alive” and “Blind Faith.” Both available on YouTube.

Currently in the studio working on his debut (change this to new) album to be released in late 2018.
