Is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, comedy writer and the universe’s only Dr. of Comedy. (Nittrouer received a PhD in UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film, and Television and wrote her doctoral dissertation on the topic of stand-up comedy performance). After years of adding comedy to her university lectures and conference talks, Nittrouer put her extensive background in performance to use on the stand-up stage. Nittrouer was raised in Long Island but has lived in North Carolina, Seattle, and Wisconsin – giving her ample perspective and enabling her comedy to easily translate on the road. Her dynamic comedic voice is a hybrid of intellectual observer and fantastical-foul mouthed party animal (see clips!). Nittrouer has received great acclaim from audiences at the top clubs in Los Angeles, around the US, and internationally -- offering her wildly unapologetic opinions. Nittrouer is also a free-lance author and creator/co-producer of Good Humor, the only stand-up comedy show with free ice cream for all audience members.
