 ONCE UPON A TIME...

I started doing stand up in Dallas, TX. I moved to Los Angeles in 2005 and got my first break in 2006 when I was hired to write for a Comedy Central show. In 2007, I was featured on Comedy Central's "Live At Gotham."

I was also a semifinalist on NBC's "Last Comic Standing," in 2010 and that appearance led me to 2011: my busiest year to date. I was a part of Showtime's "Legally Brown," a stand-up special featuring a diverse collection of comedians that premiered in May and was on Gabriel Iglesias' "Stand Up Revolution," in October on Comedy Central. Aside from stand-up, you might've also caught me on an episode of FX's "Sons of Anarchy."

This past February, I showcased at NACA (National Association of Campus Activities) Nationals and was the most requested act of the convention. As a result, this fall I will be doing shows at more than 100 colleges across the country.

Aside from stand-up, I've won awards for short films I've written, including Best Film at the Boston Comedy Festival for a musical I wrote ("TGIF: The Musical") and had one of my sketches named Latina.com's "Five Funniest Sketches Of The Decade."
